CAC - DNR Field Day / Construction Advocacy Council Meeting - September

In lieu of the MBA’s normal CAC September meeting next week, we will be meeting for a field day with the DNR to talk about land development and home construction as it pertains to everything from silt fence to storm water management.  This is an opportunity for MBA members to meet local DNR storm water program staff at an active construction site.  MBA and DNR representatives will facilitate and open discussion regarding challenges MBA members and DNR staff have implementing storm water permit requirements and practices at development sites. We’ll also tour the site to observe and discuss the specific practices that are being implemented at this site.

Location: Neumann Development’s Subdivision named Welshire Farms in the Town of Delafield. The subdivision is located on the north side of I94 between Hwy 83 and Hwy SS.  There is a map attached to this email.

We will be meeting that the subdivision entrance off of Golf Rd.  There will be coffee and donuts between 8:00 and 8:30.  We will start the field day right at 8:30 so please make sure to be on time.  Wear comfortable shoes or boots as it is an active construction site and we will be doing some walking.  We are planning to not take more than 2 hours.
