Metropolitan Builders Association Unveils 2023 Annual Award Winners
Parade of Homes Builders and Members honored
Waukesha, WI – October 17, 2023 – The crème de la crème of Milwaukee’s building industry took center stage on Thursday, October 5th as the Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) hosted its annual awards gala. Over 300 attended the award celebration held at the Marriott Milwaukee West in Waukesha to honor members and builders featured in the 77th running of the Parade of Homes, the longest running Parade in the US as well as members that have exemplified a strong commitment to the association.
Each year the Parade of Homes showcases some of the finest home designs, newest trends, and cutting-edge features. This year's Parade showcased 12 amazing homes by 10 of the MBA's builder members in two subdivisions: Wrenwood North - Germantown and Redford Hills - Sussex. Awards were presented to the top parade winners in the following categories:
People’s Choice Award, voted on by those who attended the Parade of Homes, went to:
Wrenwood in Germantown: Stepping Stone Homes, first time entry into the Parade of Homes.

The award gala also honored the exceptional efforts of those Associate and Builder members who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and commitment to the Association throughout the year.
Hall of Fame Inductee: Scott Thistle
Builder of the Year: Steve DeCleene from Neumann Developments
Associate of the Year: Sarajane Trier from Bell Bank Mortgage
Rookie of the Year: Maren Lichtie from Frontier Title and Closing Services LLC
Industry Advocate: Joe Orendorf from Cornerstone Developments
Rising Star: Mike Turowski from Werner Electric
